ANTIQUE EARLY 20TH c CHINESE OR VIETNAMESE EMBROIDERED DRAGON PANEL! Beautiful antique/ vintage early 20th century Chinese or Vietnamese embroidered panel. On a lemon yellow satin silk material finely embroidered and padded under embroidery to create a relief (dragon bodies- see pictures) dragons surrounded with clouds and a floral border. Embroidered in knot stitches using golden yellow color silk threads (the dragons). The panel measures approx. 54″ (137.2 cm) long x 54″ (137.2 cm) wide. Condition : very good vintage condition with no visible damages or imperfections aside 2 spots with slight staining (see pictures). Pair of Late 19th Century or Early 20th Century. Chinese porcelain vases on stands. Both slightly different size as they are hand thrown. 12.5 cm tall. 7.5 cm diameter approx. 8 cm diameter carved wooden bases. These vases are hand thrown in porcelain and are hand decorated in enamel. Both have their original stands. Both have imperial dragons are are late 18th in style but probably later 19th or very early 20th century. One tight hairline on one vase – otherwise very good and stands have a nice age patina. Hand thrown as evidenced by potters marks and ribs in inners and both are slightly different in size. Clouds on the vase shoulder and mouth rim. Xuande seal mark on the base. Made in the Ming or early Qing Dynasty. About 16 3/4 inches tall (about 42.5cm). About 3.71 kg. Several very old bronze repairs to the side of the lower section (please see the photos). This vase is hundreds of years old, and judging from the repairs, its had an eventful life. Here is an exceptional early Chinese Dragon brocade panel in excellent condition. The background is a warm brown color and the other colors are still vibrant. Silks and real gold. It has only one minor issue at the tail of the right-side dragon. I believe this is an early piece and is from the 18th Century or possibly earlier. It was mounted in a silk frame at some point in the 20th Century. Dimensions: It measures 30 x 13 inches. Circa: 1800 or earlier. Condition: Excellent (minor issue at right dragon tail). It has surface scratches and wears, a small dent at the corner, and the silver is tarnished (as seen in the photos). How we pack your item is at our discretion.
