A Main Yellow Dragon Posing in the middle and other moving, flying dragons around him. In the middle the pile goes into two directions. I do not know which kind of loom they used, must have been a Vertical loom. The colors are shining which appear to be all Vegetale dyes. Tones of Blue, Yelow, red, Red, Brick. The patterns are highlighted tone sur tone. Like the Yelow dragon has lighter and darker yellow highlights. The composition is very dynamic, you can almost hear the mystic music coming through. The robe has off- white sleeve bands with painted blooming tree branches and flowers with Chinese calligraphy characters painted in black and red seals (see pictures). Lined with a blue silk linen. FINE ANTIQUE LATE 19thC / EARLY 20th CHINESE CLOISONNE ON BRONZE DRAGON VASE. A very decorative and fine quality late 19th or early 20th Century Chinese cloisonne vase, decorated around the body with two dragons, with floral detail above to the shoulders. The cloisonne enamel detail is on bronze, gilded to the upper and lower rims, and on a mottled beige ground. The vase is unsigned, but exhibits true quality. Height: 12 cm or 4 3/4 inches. Width: 8.4 cm or 3 1/4 inches. In good condition, with some cracking, to the deep brown enamel around the upper rim, as well as a small shallow chip to the side.
