This listing is for an Antique Lidded Chinese Copper / Brass / Bronze Wine Ewer with multiple Floral and Birds panels on each side and a Unique Dragon style Spout, and other fine engravings and details as shown. In excellent as shown antique condition with one of the large two panels on one side having a dent as shown together with other wear, patina, and blue-green oxidations as shown. Dimensions: 13 1/2 inches tallest, 7 1/2 inches handle to sprout, about 3 7/8 inches widest bulb diameter. Very decorative having an archaic look and texture. Images are continuous and have an order front, back, sides, etc.. And should be viewed in continuous fashion. There are a total of 29 images of this item posted within the body of this listing. Antique Qing Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Gourd Shape Dragon Ewer Teapot
Actual date unknown — Appears to be a later copy of a Ming style piece, estimated late qing. Good condition with some glaze imperfections from firing, as noted and shown above — no chips or repairs. 8 high, 5 inches wide, base 3 1/4 inches across. With hand painted dragon design. THE ABOVE DESCRIPTION IS MY BEST OPINION. Please view the close ups and photos for the careful description and attempt to describe and show any defects, and write me any questions. SUPERB ANTIQUE CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE PORCELAIN MONKS CAP EWER W DRAGONS KANGXI
This week Chamberlain Antiques is pleased to offer over 250+ lots of fine Asian antiques and works of art. Included in the sale is an impressive collection of Chinese porcelains, bronzes, jades, paintings, and other works of art. 99 with NO RESERVE. Thank you for looking and good luck!!! The body of the ewer divided in three sections by raised bands with crass hatched design. Each section beautifully decorated with life like dragons on a ground of crashing waves. The spout in the form of a dragons head and the reverse with two dog head handles. The ewer stands 13.75 inches (35cm) tall and is in very good condition with the exception of a small area of repair and hairline on the raised rim. A beautiful and bold piece of Kangxi period porcelain. In addition, all questions must be asked at least 12 hours prior to a lot closing. This allows us time to inspect the item and take additional photos if needed. Many of the items we sell are well over 100 years old. Inherently, these items will have some minor or light wear. Any major flaws and damages ie. Chips or cracks will be clearly disclosed in the item description.
