Chinese Export Silver bowl with dragon and piercedwork decoration. In very good order, it does however have a small bump to the base circular foot which does give it a slight wobble. Makers initials to base as well as a Chinese character mark. Measures 130mm in diameter and stands 68mm tall. A nice quality piece. MAKER or SPONSOR MARK. Rare Chinese Export Dragons Phoenix Bird Writing Table Desk And Matching Chair
A very good looking and well made set. Ive never seen a matched pair like this before and never with this ebonised black wash finished over a golden timber. The carving is ornate, sublime and exquisite, there is something interesting to see from every angle. These date to circa 1920 so have plenty of age related patina marks here and there, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it all over. Depth:- 53.5cm. Seat height:- 53.5cm. - Rare Hung Chong Chinese Export Sterling Silver Dragon Spoon Shanghai 18601930
It stands horizontally on four clawed feet with its tail curved into a spiral. This rare and unusual spoon was made by the silversmith Hung Chong of Shanghai between 1860 and 1930 and remains in excellent antique condition with age-appropriate wear (see condition description). Good maker’s mark to the back of the bowl, and a simply unique and spectacular piece of silver for the lucky winner! Length: 8 3/4in (22.2cm). See my listings for a similar spoon by Luen Wo. Vintage c1900 Sun Shing Chinese Export Solid Silver Dragon Cruet Set includes Mustard, Salt & Pepper Pot A stunning Chinese export silver cruet set that looks to be made by Sun Shing having double “SS” hallmark to base of tray. The set is complete and in excellent condition, it comes with salt cellar, pepper and mustard pots, salt and mustard spoons, original clear glass liners for both salt cellar and hexagonal mustard pot and handled tray on ball feet. The salt cellar is adorned with two intertwined dragons and a pearl, the pepper and mustard have similar patterned panels of dragons, men under trees, birds in bushes, bamboo plants, vines and Chinese writing. The tray has bamboo styled handle and holders and is stamped to base with Chinese signature and’SS’ hallmark. The tray measures approx 10cm long by 7.2cm wide.
