Here offered for sale an Antique Chinese Export Sterling silver (It is not marked in english but everyone I ask said silver so going off that and the tarnish) Cocktail Shaker and 5 cups. On it a pattern of Dragons. Amazing piece of art produced in the 19th century. Shaker is in good condition with two minor dents. Cups two are missing the wire from dragons mouth, one the wire is lose also they have very minor dents on them as she stacked them together. She did not use it only displayed it. The handles are formed into bamboos designs as are the handles on the lids. Many tea sets are missing the lid to the sugar bowl, whereas this is the complete set in fantastic condition. The handle on the teapot has insulating spacers made from bamboo, indicating this set was intended to be used. A wonderful collectors set or something to amaze your friends as a dinner party. For sale is an. Old Antique CHINESE EXPORT SOLID SILVER COVERED DISH, BOX decorated with DRAGONS. This is a beautiful old piece of Chinese Silver. It is unmarked, but has been tested as Solid Silver (it is not silver-plated). Circa late 19th century – early 20th century or so. The base is hollow. It would have had a Glass or Porcelain Liner, which is now missing. It may be a butter dish or condiment jar, but we aren’t certain. The Dragons have fantastic detail. It measures 2 5/8 inches (6.5 cm) in height (to the top of the finial on the lid). The Dish itself measures just over 3 3/8 inches (8.7 cm) in diameter and 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm) in depth. It would hold a liner approximately this size. The hammer marks are visible from the inside. It weighs 111.8 grams (3.60 troy oz). There is some overall fairly minor age-related wear and some minor tarnish (see photos). There are a few surface scratches on the inside of the lid (see last photo).
