For sale a Chinese porcelain powder blue glaze dish. Beautifully decorated with traces of gilt dragon, red leaves to reverse. Under-glaze blue QIANLONG Seal mark to base, and of the period, 18th Century. Condition (please study provided pictures for full details). Gilding rubbed, bears two short hairlines (see pic 12), otherwise very good condition, no chips or repairs, as pictured. Please check my other listings. Antique Chinese Export Silver Dragon Vase Hallmarked 10 oz Fine Grade

I will describe the best I can. This vase has lots of dents, dings and scratches. I do not know the purity of the silver and do not have a tester. I just don’t know how to read them. Not even sure I have the picture of the mark positioned right for reading (I apologize if it is upside down). I also believe this to be made sometime around the 1880’s. I think my electronic scales are pretty accurate and vase weighs in on my scale at 9.9 oz. Bottom of vase is not weighted. I have polished the vase but still needs some more polishing. All off color marks and tarnish are coming off with enough rubbing. I think the vase is beautiful as it is but does really need to be restored, LOTS OF DENTS!! FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE BRONZE ARCHIC DRAGON RING-HANDLED VASE SIGNED. Hello, thank you for having a look at my auctions. Although I was a little down and out over the summer I still managed to acquire some incredible and important treasures for my first sale of the fall season. This sale offers a wide variety of great examples from across many categories of collecting. The items include some exceptionally rare and important examples including some imperial wares, and items dating from the Song dynasty to the earlier Republic period. This sale features items from three important estate collections including the late Chinese ceramics expert Michael Vermeers collection, Mr. H Pao of Toronto who owned a high-end shop in the famous four seasons hotel in Toronto for many years and whom was considered one of North Americas top experts and scholars in many categories of antique Chinese art. Also some of the smaller scholarly items including the jade examples are from the estate of A Abraham. Abraham owned the Imperial Jade Shop situated in the famous King Edward hotel until the year 1976 (40 years ago) when the hotel was renovated and the shop never re-opened. These items have been in storage since the shop closed down and have not seen the light of day until now! Abraham was a highly respected jade dealer, appraiser, and collector in the 1950-70s period. I do not know a great deal about many of the objects myself. Being out of this known experts estate I believe there is a good chance there are some important and rarely found examples being offered. I do wish everyone the very best of luck winning the auctions! This vase is a fine antique example that has some great archaic dragon designs. The vase is also marked to the base and I believe would conservatively date to the Qing dynasty period, if not earlier. The vase has a nice early patina throughout. The vase is in fine condition with o damage. The vase displays very nicely measuring 11 1/2 inches tall, by 8 1/8 inches wide. It is well worth looking into this vase and the base markings.
