Vintage Chinese Doucai Ginger Jar Lamp Dragon Flames. A Chinese Doucai glazed porcelain ginger jar made into a lamp. Composed of underglaze flame and cloud motifs, further embellished enameled soaring dragons and traditional patterns along the base. Finished with a dragon enameled lid and an overall white gloss base glaze. Lamp works, but rewiring is always recommended. 17 1/2″ (Total Height) 11 1/2″ (Total Height of Jar) 8 (Across the Middle) Weighs 6 1/4 lbs (Prior to Packaging) (Including the Harp and Finial). Please scroll down to view all of the pictures. No chips or cracks. Minimal indication of wear. There is some label residue in the pictures which has since been removed. Due within 3 Days. CHINESE EXPORT SILVER TEA SET DRAGON CUP & SAUCER A beautifully hand crafted, perhaps turn of the century Chinese export silver tea cup and matching saucer. The set features hand carved Chinese dragons set amidst streaming flames battling for the sacred pearl. Here the pearl is in fiery orb form. Set against shimmering, stippled / tiny pebbled surfaces. This hand crafted Chinese export silver dragon in flames tea cup is 4 1/4 inches. Handle to rim & matching dragon saucer 5 1/4 inches, set weighs 9 standard ounces. Not unusual for Chinese silver, tests coin purity or higher. This is not silver plate or cheap nickel silver. In very fine condition. Antique Chinese Silk Kimono Embroidered Dragon Heads, Clouds & Flames Silk Lined
Up for your consideration is a One-Of-A-Kind Antique Chinese Silk Embroidered Kimono Featuring Blue Silk Exterior with Intricately Embroidered Dragons Each with Eight (8) Claws Per Arm Among Clouds Swirling Above (Denoting Authority) and Flames (One of the Twelve Symbols of Imperial Authority) Tailored From Densely Sewn Gold, Red, Black and Yellow Twine-Like Fibers… The Artwork is Thick Allover and the Thickest (Deepest) Embroidered Areas are the Three (3) Dragon Heads which Measure Approximately 1/2 Deep / Thick in Embroidery… Fully Lined in White Silk… This one-of-a-kind collectible piece is suitable for display purposes and it is also entirely wearable… See photos above for more detailed imagery The CONDITION of this piece is twofold: The EXTERIOR is in overall good to great condition with only minor wear and, if age is taken into account, it is excellent. The INTERIOR is in overall very good condition at the interior sleeves, both front panels and much of the back with the EXCEPTION of discolored stains that appear to have been caused by some kind of liquid, though it may have just been poorly stored by a prior owner, and Five (5) areas where the silk lining is torn / frayed (shown in PHOTO # 11 ABOVE) which I will describe more thoroughly. (1) The largest is 7″ wide x 2″ tall at the uppermost left backside shoulder area… (2) The next is right below and is 4.5″ wide x 1″ tall and is also located at the upper left backside shoulder… (3) There is an “L” shaped tear 3″ below and 3″ more towards the center back of the left side underarm seam and that “L” shaped tear measures 2″ tall with a 2″ wide horizontal at the bottom left… (4) There is a 1.75″ wide x 1/2″ tall fray / tear located 19 below the backside center neck collar seam… (5) Lastly, there is an upside-down “L” shaped tear measuring 1.75″ wide x 1″ tall 3 above the interior backside bottom center hemline… TOTAL MEASUREMENTS: 54 top collar seam to bottom hemline… 28″ across shoulder seam to shoulder seam (56″ around)… Each Furi, the portion of the sleeve that swings, 13″ along the top x 12″ along the bottom x 18″ length with a 10″ long opening parallel to each Miyatsukuchi… Each Miyatsukuchi, the arm hole on the body where the sleeve is attached (the opening under each underarm), is 5 length… If front lapels are slightly overlapping, 24″ across front mid-section just below underarm openings from side seam to side seam (48″ around)… Laid flat with lapels touching and no lapel overlap 28″ across (56″ around)… The item “ANTIQUE CHINESE SILK KIMONO EMBROIDERED DRAGON HEADS, CLOUDS & FLAMES SILK LINED” is in sale since Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
