Here is an exceptional early Chinese Dragon brocade panel in excellent condition. The background is a warm brown color and the other colors are still vibrant. Silks and real gold. It has only one minor issue at the tail of the right-side dragon. I believe this is an early piece and is from the 18th Century or possibly earlier. It was mounted in a silk frame at some point in the 20th Century. Dimensions: It measures 30 x 13 inches. Circa: 1800 or earlier. Condition: Excellent (minor issue at right dragon tail). These golden cultured pearls are so shiny, that it comes through. Even in my non-professional photo. 1.75 in length. Some call this Jade “moss in snow”. 14kt gold lever back tops for ultimate safety. $4k Pair Decalcomania Decoupage Jar Vase Chinoiserie Chinese Dragon Red Gold

RARE PAIR OF ANTIQUE DECALCOMANIA GINGER JARS. Chinoiserie decoration featuring Chinese dragons or phoenixes, courtiers, noblemen or empresses, and warriors or horsemen. Probably English or American late 19th or early 20th century. These present beautifully and look very handsome on a fireplace mantel, console table or wall brackets. Approximately 13 inches tall. Orange-red, black, gold, green white. Interior paint flaking, which can be restored but does not detract from the overall appearance in my opinion (the pattern is so elaborate that the interior losses are hardly visible from the exterior). Reverse painted with applied decoration using the decalcomania or decoupage technique. Signed underneath one lid as pictured. Decalcomania from the French word décalcomanie is a decorative technique – invented in Europe in the 18th century and imported to the US in the 19th century – by which engravings and prints or decals are transferred to glass or pottery. Elaborate antique early to middle 19th century Chinese dragon robe with high quality workmanship throughout the entire piece. The dragons are tightly made and extremely attractive. The entire robe shows the great skill of Chinese embroidery. The robe is large measuring 51 inches long and 83 inches sleeve to sleeve. The condition is good but does have some damage on the inside near collar area. For its age it is still in good condition and extremely attractive. Truly a die hard collector piece.
