Vintage 8pc Hand Carved Dragon Chinese Lacquered Stone Tea Set & Tray With Mother of pearl Inlay. Set of eight Chinese Soapstone tea set, featuring Hu shaped teapot, carved dragons on both sides, flanked with archaistic dragon as spout and handle. Accompanied with six small round cups with dragon carvings. Rectangular tray inlaid with mother of pearl, featuring different figures. H: 1 3/4″, W: 7 1/2″, L: 9 1/2. The teapot is approx 4.5 tall and is decorated with a carved dragon on both sides. The handle and spout are dragons also. The cups are 1 tall and are decorated with a carved dragon on one side and a flaming ball or peal on the other side. There is small chips on the cups and one small chip on the dragon head of the tea pot spout but not really visible at all! The tray needs a good cleaning to give it a shine.
