Antique Early 1900s Double Sided Chinese Hide Tack Drum Hand Painted Dragon/Bird
Antique early 1900s double sided Chinese hide tack drum. This ceremonial drum has beautiful hand painted decoration on each side, featuring dragons and birds. Hand-crafted using painted wooden edges with the decorated hide held into place with hand made tacks. In good used antique condition with marks and wear associated with age and use. There are some surface losses to the wooden bands, one of the loop rings is missing, as is one of the tacks. Dimensions – 26cm diameter x 11cm width / Weight 1kg. The items I sell are in a used antique or vintage condition. This means they may have related flaws or defects. Please look at the photos as these form part of the description. All items will be sent tracked and signed for. Buyers from Highlands, Islands, Channel Isles etc may incur an extra charge. Antique 20th Century Chinese Silver Plate Double Dragon Hand Mirror /b
This is an exceptional antique 20th century Chinese silver plate over cast metal hand mirror. The piece features two Chinese dragons in detailed relief. Each are immersed in reaching sea waves. There is a hallmark below the mirror but have not been able to identify. The silver plate surface shows wear. There is a small amount of paint on the handle and the mirror mercury has wear to the top rim. The raised edge that holds the mirror has one area needing to be re-soldered. Measures 10 1/4″ long, 5 7/8″ diameter mirror base. Please review all photos carefully for condition and consideration. Condition is Pre Owned.
