Item for your consideration here is a Chinese natural jadeite belt buckle. The buckle features an openwork chilong to the shaft with a dragon head terminal hook. Contains a nice mottled apple-green coloration along the stone. Excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks to the Jadeite. Decorated in gold thread with dragons pursuing a flaming pearl among auspicious emblems, the lower hem with scrolling waves against a blue, green, and purple ground; the front and back emblazoned with a large central dragon. H: 55 1/2, W: 78 in. Condition: Very good for age and use. Brilliant red color, rare yellow interior. Two pulls to silk on back, minor wear to underarm. Tiny hole on right inside sleeve.
