Fine Chinese Ming Chenghua Style. 26 Chinese Qing Underglaze Iron Red Enamel Dragon Blue and White Porcelain Vase. Here is an outstanding Chinese blue and white porcelain vase. It has a truly one of the finer underglazed iron red dragon. The combination of blue white and underglazed iron red color is among the most difficult technique of ceramic making. Because of the huge difference of the firing temperatures of both colors, most underglazed iron red painting would be melted together and lose its strokes and shapes. Take a look at our close up pictures of the dragon of this vase, every stroke is clear. It has some small green spot, evidence of true underglazed iron red color. Underneath this vase, it has a 6 character Qinglong seal mark. It’s in good condition without any major imperfection, only normal wear and tear due to its age. It measures 66cm tall. 19th Century Chinese Gilded Brass Iron with Jade Carved Belt Hook Handle. It is 3 inches (7.7 cm) tall by 6.2 inches (15.9 cm) wide. The jade is 0.9 inch (2.2 cm) tall by 3.1 inches (8 cm) long and 0.76 inch (1.95 cm) wide. It is 0.47 lb. The brass has oxidation and the jade has flea bite chips and inclusions (as seen in the photos). Some of the photos were taken under the sun. How we pack your item is at our discretion.
