Measuring 11″ tall by 16 ½” in diameter at the shoulder, this large antique Terracotta Jardinière Planter depicts Chinese Foo Dragons peeking in and out of clouds. This circa-1900 Terracotta Planter is an excellent quality with fine details. Along the top edge is a geometric border, and along the top edge is a Greek Key border. There are no cracks, chips or restorations, however the inside is soiled from years of being used as a planter.
