ANTIQUE CHINESE FAN EMBROIDERED WITH DRAGON WITH LACQUERED BOX PAINTED SILK. A very beautiful, good quality antique Chinese fan with a laquered box which has gilt decoration on the lid and a lovely painted silk pad inside the lid. It has a push button opening, The fan has embroidered silk of a dragon chasing the flaming pearl of wisdom through the clouds. When opened out the fam measures 40cm. The loop at the bottom is attached with mother of pearl studs and it has two silk tassles. Please supersize the photos to see the detail. The fan is in superb condition except for one stick which has broken clean across in the narrow part. I think it could be repaired cleanly. No other damage, no tears to silk. Box in very good condition also. We pack carefully please see our feedback.
