This stunning Chinese Antique Necklace begins with an exquisitely detailed Dragon carved in a 31mm by 19mm piece of Carnelian Agate. Note the detail in the individual scales and the tiny details of the dragon’s face. The Carnelian Carving is wrapped in an elaborate Gold Washed frame made specifically for this carving. The frame in stacked Gold Filigree Chain with Marcasite Stones in the tiny leaf and flower detailed prongs that hold the Dragon in Place. The Carnelian is unscratched with no cracks or blemishes, the only flaw in the frame is a small chip of frame missing from the back. Pendant is 2 by 1 1/2″ Hangs on a 17″ chain of linked Carnelian Glass Beads (the chain is obviously a later addition to this antique pendant) We have recently acquired the jewelry estate of a women who spent 30 years traveling Europe collecting high quality Czech Glass Jewelry.
