This is an absolutely gorgeous piece of Asian furniture! It is heavily carved and decorated with 4 dragon’s heads and a floral motif on the base. Wonderful, geometric marble top with beaded filigre around the top. The stand is 16″x16″ wide and 18 high! Please do not open a case without giving us the opportunity to meet your expectations. However, this one had to be an exception, given its incredible detail. In the centre is a Five Toed Chinese Dragon. On the side, are two further ornate Dragons. Gorgeous colour and detail throughout. Also, one tends to see damaged pieces, but this one has no dents. Overall in excellent antique condition. I believe that it is a Brush Washer Bowl/Dish. Quite a large size, as it is approximately 8″ across and approximately 2 1/2″ tall. Don’t miss this one! This can be quite pricey even at my cost. Dragon Summer Robe Silk. Great Qing Dynasty textile. Late 1800s early 1900s. The is a hand made dragon robe, decorated with symbols of Chinese culture of the past. The Rob has birds (crans), flowers and other decorations in spun gold and silk. Wonderful cloth, see decoration. Missing buttons, tears to button loups, needs restoration. I honestly can’t quite find the center. It is larger than many of the balls you see for sell–about 3-1/4 in diameter. Excellent condition with no visible imperfections.
