This listing is for a beautiful Chinese porcelain planter dating to the 19th century. The planter is hand painted around the exterior with underglaze blue and red dragons bordered by bands of stylized waves circling the outside. The planter has a squared off top rim painted with blossoms in blue accented with red. It is a large piece measuring 18 inches (45.75cm) across and standing 16 inches (41cm) tall. The planter has been split and professionally restored. The restoration is as good as we have seen and is extremely difficult to notice. In addition, all questions must be asked at least 12 hours prior to a lot closing. This allows us time to inspect the item and take additional photos if needed. Many of the items we sell are well over 100 years old. Inherently, these items will have some minor or light wear. Any major flaws and damages ie.
