Antique Qing Dynasty Dragon Richly Embroidered Silk Robe (Part). This beautiful, large, antique dragon robe is not in garment form at present, though it has signs that it was once sewn up. The fabric is silk satin, and the embroidery is silk with a metallic. On the rear, is a magenta colour, which suggests that the fabric has faded to the current apricot colour, which is quite patchy on the top side. The embroidery is in good condition. While this is not a wearable piece, it is certainly worthy of display, and no doubt steeped in history. Measures approx 6′ x 4′ 2; (around 183cm x 127cm).
