Antique early 1900s double sided Chinese hide tack drum. This ceremonial drum has beautiful hand painted decoration on each side, featuring dragons and birds. Hand-crafted using painted wooden edges with the decorated hide held into place with hand made tacks. In good used antique condition with marks and wear associated with age and use. There are some surface losses to the wooden bands, one of the loop rings is missing, as is one of the tacks. Dimensions – 26cm diameter x 11cm width / Weight 1kg.
