Amazing Vintage Antique Chinese Purple Silk Embroidered Boots Dragon Waves. These are just too fabulous! But I don’t think any real person is going to be able to wear them. They have a stamp inside that says 40 but they are certainly not a size 40 as I know it in shoes. They are extremely narrow and short boots. So these are rather a display item than something you’re going to be able to wear. They’re done in purple silk with the same sorts of embroidery designs you find on Chinese robes. There are waves and dragons and a flaming pearl design on each toe area. Longest part of sole is 10 inches from front to back. From top to bottom these are 18 inches. Sole is 3 inches. From side to side it’s only about 2 1/2 inches where the widest part of your foot would go. The sole is stacked and stitched leather (stacked on its side) and is amazingly sturdy. That is painted white. The boot is purple silk. There are no zippers or closures. Please look at the photos carefully and ask any questions before purchasing. Fabulous vintage piece, hard to find these. Chinese lantern lamp shade. Hand-painted silk panels of elegant ladies in pretty muted colours. One panel has some marks but silk is all intact. The structure has elaborate dragon carvings. And can be folded flat. The tassels have some damage and one is missing. These could be replaced or some/all removed. All original and the old wiring is still attached. Size – 41.5 cms high, 35.5 cms diameter. I have one more of these in storage so please contact me if interested in the pair. I will list the other one over the next few weeks. It is in the same condition. Pair of Nice Dragon Carved Water Buffalo Horns. Horns are in good, displayed shape. The right horn has a crack and the lower side base where it mounts to wood, but doesnt look terrible. Still show well to me. Horns stand 14 tall. Each gray / black horn is carved with dragons with red stone eyes. Very cool pair of items for the art collector to display. Vintage Chinese Porcelain Vase Turquoise Famille Rose Enamels Dragons. A beautiful Chinese porcelain vase hand painted in famille rose enamels with scene of snake like Dragons and scrolling vine on a turquoise ground. This dates to 20th c. But I do not know much about this vases history, it came from a local Providence, R. High end used and antique furniture company that went bankrupt in 2001. I bought this and numerous old, Japanese Imari vases and a few Chinese lamps that I will list soon. Condition is very good, no chips, cracks or repairs. The bottom is marked with a double circle Kangxi mark. Vase measures 17″ inches high and 27″ inches in circumference around widest part. A very nice collectible and display piece. Sale includes 1 VINTAGE BRONZE CHINESE DRAGON MOTIF LIDDED INCENSE BURNER CENSER. Approximately 11″ x 5″ x 4 1/2. The incense burner has signs of age, surface scratches and wear as shown. It appears that the incense burner is tilting towards one side because the lower portion of the dragon which acts as the base, is slightly bent out of shape. This item was made in an articulated dragon motif and features a multitude of swirl motifs composing the body of the dragon. A light patina on the low relief portions of the sterling silver gives this piece an antique quality, which we believe is quite lovely. The price of this item has been reduced to reflect this. VINTAGE CHINESE 14kt GOLD JADE MOSS IN SNOW WITH GLISTENING PEARL LEVER BACK EARRINGS. The gorgeous carving is that of SHOU (longevity) and dragon. These golden cultured pearls are so shiny, that it comes through. Even in my non-professional photo. 1.75 in length. Some call this Jade “moss in snow”. 14kt gold lever back tops for ultimate safety. Rare Antique Vintage Chinese Porcelain Dragon Vase Hat Stand Marked Old Stand

The hat stand has a beautiful green backround and is covered in dragons flying among clouds over waves of water. Considerable work by a Chinese artisan is evident in the beautiful hat stand. There are five horned dragons with long, curving bodies of blue, pink, yellow and green. Clouds of yellow, pink, blue and white surround the 4-toed dragons. There are six cut outs in the porcelain with borders of gold. Waves of green and white water are at the bottom of the hat stand. There is a four character Chinese marking on the base along with two faint red markings that are not legible. Dragons are admired in Chinese culture and thought to rule the heavens. They are symbolic of power and strength. Dragons often appear in Chinese art and highly prized by collectors. The wood stand displays the hat stand beautifully and is substantial enough to support the weight. The square shaped wooden stand is marked “Made in Japan” on the bottom along with remants of an old paper tag. There is a round raised area for. Display in the center of the stand. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or damages to the vase. There are a few very minor spots of paint loss if you look closely. There could be minor surface scratches as expected from normal use. The inside of the vase is bright and clean with no stains or debris. The gold at the top and around the cuts outs is slightly worn. There is a spot on the top rim that I believe was made during production but it might be old wear or a tiny chip (see photos). There are normal characterists of old porcelain such as firing cracks (on the base). Overall, the hat stand is in excellent antique condition with expected wear. The colors are bright and beautiful. There is no damage or repair to the carved wood base. It is in excellent vintage condition with normal expected wear such as surface scratches and rubs. The stain is lighter in a few places but the patina is lovely. Three nail heads are visible on the bottom. Weight: 2.9 pounds. Weight: 256.9 grams. Stand height: 1 1/2. Stand length & width: 5 3/4. Stand display diameter: 4 1/2. This stunning old Chinese porcelain hat stand is truly exquisite and high quality. The hat stand and antique wooden stand would make a fine addition to a collection of Chinese art & antiques. It is one of my favorites among a large collection of Chinese hat stands.
