Thank You, Christian Chaffee. This is an antique Chinese bronze censer, fresh from an old estate. This has a lobed form, with a rim that has two twisted rope form handles. This has it’s original old gold gilt surface with expected wear from normal use. This is marked on the rim with cast Xanadu characters, and has a raised cast dragon mark on the bottom. This is attached to a wooden base, which was done a long time ago, and may be original to the censer. The wooden base has a round hole in the center, which makes it possible to see the round dragon mark cast into the bottom of the censer. This has no holes in the cast bronze, no damage, and no old repairs. The wooden base could use cleaning and some wood polish to look it’s best. This measures about 10″ high, 12″ wide and 12 deep. The weight is about 13 lbs. THIS ITEMS CONDITION REPORT. This is in good condition. This weighs about 13 lbs before packing. Please wait for your invoice before paying.
