This fantastic early to middle 1900s in the mid-19th c. Style is finely cast with great hand finished details and warm brown waxed patina. It is cast, carved, and turned from a copper alloy brass? … And measures 19 tall x 12 ½ (including figural dragon handles) x 7 diameter at the engine turned (integral) base. As the photos show, the details are extra nice and include a full round elephant figure with raised trunk and vignettes of songbirds in Asian conifer trees. The lid is removable and the vessel holds water. I see no makers marks.
