RARE ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED CHINESE PORCELAIN DRAGON 3PC URN With STAND
A BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED CHINESE PORCELAIN 3PC DRAGON URN WITH STAND. THE URN MEASURES ABOUT 10 1/4 TALL, BY ABOUT 10 1/2 AT ITS WIDEST POINT. CONDITION LOOKS GREAT FOR ITS AGE. HOWEVER AS YOU CAN SEE IT DOES HAVE TWO SMALL BLEMISHES. ONE LITTLE SURFACE CHIP ON THE INSIDE OF THE TINY LID AND ONE OF THE RINGS HAS BEEN BROKEN AND REPAIRED. THREE OF THE FOUR RINGS ARE AFIXED TO TH E VASE. THE OTHER ONE IS LOOSE AND JUST NEEDS A LITTLE SUPER GLUE. NOT SURE OF ITS AGE. IF I WERE TO GUESS I WOULD SAY IN THE MID TO LATE 1800’S. JUST A GUESS THOUGH. COLORS AND DETAIL IN THIS PIECE ARE SECOND TO NONE. A GREAT PIECE OF CHINESE ART. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK. RARE ANTIQUE CHINESE BRONZE LOTUS FORM VASE with ENGRAVED DRAGON DESIGN
RARE ANTIQUE CHINESE BRONZE LOTUS FORM VASE with ENGRAVED DRAGON DESIGN. This is a rare antique Chinese bronze vase in a lotus flower form with an engraved dragon design around it. It is of good size and measures approx. 12 inches in height, the top rim is 4 3/8 inches in diameter and the bottom rim is 6 1/8 inches in diameter. If you look at the picture of the bottom it appears that is has traces of a silver wash over the bronze which i have never seen in a Chinese vase. I could not find any writing on the vase. It is a heavy duty quality bronze with no dents or damage. As you can see there is an engraved design of a 3 toe dragon that wraps around the vase. I took close up pictures of basically the 4 sides of the vase to give you a good idea of the engraving and condition of the vase. I also took pics of the interior of the vase to show what it looks like and might give the experts a better idea of the age and how it was made. I tried to do some research on this vase but i could not find anthing similar to it. I could not find any bronze vases that were in a Lotus flower form so teh design of the vase is very unique and rare. I could only find one other Chinese vase with an engraved design and i believe it was from at least the 1700s, usually bronze vases have an applied design or embossed design , it is very rare to have an engraved design. Im definitely not an expert on Chinese bronze items but i do believe this is a pretty early Chinese vase. All items must be paid within 10 days. Chinese carved green JADE DRAGON large antique figure
I was told that he is carved from jade. The varying shades of the jade have been carefully carved to display the pale green of the dragon, the dark, almost black green of his pearl of longevity with which he is dancing, and the medium greens of the water plants supporting and surrounding him. Carved in the round, he is 7-3/4 inches long, about 5 inches wide, and roughly 2 inches deep. The carving is very fine, with appropriate details and undercuts, much nicer than the carvings I have seen done in the present day. Unsigned, and I do not know the dynasty. I have had him displayed flat on a tabletop, but he could be hung, although he is much too large and heavy to be worn. Antique Chinese Celadon Pottery Figural Dragon Vase w/ COA. Earthenware or Pottery Vase or Ceremonial Temple Urn with Various Figures. Depicting a Celestial Dragon, Turtle, Snake & Several Immortals or People. With a Partial Thin Tan to Pale Blue Green / Celadon Crackle Glaze. With old dealer COA Card that reads: SUNG DYNASTY, 960 – 1279 A. (I do not know for sure if it is as old as stated on the COA) Exact age unknown but it does appear to be Antique. 19.9″ tall x 5.4″ wide. 5 pounds, 11.05 ounces. Good to Fair overall condition for it’s age: With wear, glaze losses, glaze chips & it is misshaped at the top half. Also, there are a few losses / large chips on & near the head of the dragon. ANTIQUE CHINESE QIANLONG Marked Large BLUE & WHITE 5 CLAWS DRAGON BOWL
ANTIQUE CHINESE QIANLONG MARKED. LARGE BLUE AND WHITE 5 CLAWS DRAGON PORCELAIN BOWL. AGE: Late Qing – Early Republic Period. CONDITION: No damage of any kind, no restoration. DIMENSIONS: 7″ (17.8cm) Top Diameter, 9.5″ (24cm) Mid Region Diameter, 5.25″ (13cm) Base diameter, 5″ (12.7cm) Tall. The exterior of the bowl is delicately painted with 2 five-claws dragons chasing a flaming pearl among clouds, above breaking waves around the base and a ruyi band around the rim. Underneath, it has a 6 character Qing Qianlong seal mark. It’s in excellent condition without any major imperfection, only normal wear and tear. This is truly a museum quality collectible in PERFECT condition. Any serious collector shouldn’t miss this one.
