Age estimated to be Qing Jiaqing period, 19th century. On the bottom, it has a Qing Jiaqing mark. No damage of any kind, no restoration, only normal wear and tear. Pair of intricately carved Zitan Dragon-Armed “Jiaoyi” Folding Chairs. Two horseshoe back Zitan folding chairs elaborately carved with a dragon and flaming pearl on the back. The curved top rails end in dragon head arm rests. The seats have a woven diamond pattern. The square section legs are mounted with footrests and are supported by inswept feet, conjoined by pierced and carved stretchers. Incredible detail and colors. Listed is a Chinese antique carved jade medallion pendant features a dragon on the top with a hole in the center. The carved jade is settled in silver color metal with four necklace bales and it was probably a center piece of a jewelry or used as a pendant. The jade is in excellent antique condition without chips or cracks. The back side of the jade is very smooth. The metal setting has some texture of flowers and plants etc. It measures 2 in diameter without the bales. It measures about 2 1/4″long and 2″ wide. Total weight 41.7 grams. It has some glaze flakes throughout, a drilled hole with tight cracks to the base, fine and tight crazing throughout, light glaze and surface scratches and scuffing throughout, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.
