Antique Chinese Garlic Neck Dragon Phoenix Relief Porcelain Vase Qianlong Mark
Antique Chinese Porcelain Relief Vase. This is a Chinese porcelain garlic neck vase decorated in relief with a Dragon and Phoenix in clouds, over ocean waves. Interesting features include the Dragon’s eyes which are mounted on extendable shafts. Qianlong mark on the base – in our view probably 19th Century, however I’ve never seen another like it, so it could be earlier. About 7 1/4 tall. This is the only one like it I’ve seen – it could be from the Qianlong period, however I’m going to say 19th Century to be safe. No cracks or repairs, with minor losses here and there to some of the raised edges (see pictures). Wonderful 19th Century Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Summer Silk Dragon Robe
Antique 19th Century Chinese court robe in blue silk with gold metal embroidery. This is a striking robe, with the contrast of the vibrant gold thread against the rich cobalt blue fabric. This is an Imperial Dragon, and the work is beautifully done encompassing many of the elements important to Chinese culture, faith and folklore. It is a mid to late 19th century garment and would have been worn at a ceremony or cultural event by a person of wealth and social status. The robe measures approximately 54″ from shoulder to hem and approximately 27″ from armpit to armpit. Overall, it is in very good condition with a few minor issues in accordance with it’s age. There is one tiny hole on the back approx 4 from the hemline and some loose threads on sleevse and at one shoulder. Very slight fading on sleeves. Beautiful Antique Qi’ing Chinese Embroidered Gauze Ji’ifu Dragon Robe Embroidery
ANTIQUE 19th c QI’ING DYNASTY CHINESE EMBROIDERED GAUZE SEMI- FORMAL JI’IFU DRAGON ROBE! On a blue gauze material finely embroidered 9 5- clawed dragons (the front and the back of the robe), surrounded with bats, clouds in ruyi shape, Shou signs, flaming wheels, flowers, and other Buddhist suspicious symbols. All above lishui border with rolling waves. Extremely finely worked piece- just look at the pictures! The robe measures 56 (142.2 cm) long. Condition: GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION overall with not much damages aside 2 slits on the shoulders and 1 small hole on a sleeve (see pictures, all shown).
