BIG Antique or Vintage? Chinese White Cloisonne Vase w/ Celestial DRAGONS. From a local estate. White & Multicolored Enamel Cloisonne Vase. Depicting 4 Celestial 5 Toe DRAGONS & Flaming Pearls Among Ruyi Shaped Clouds. Also depicting Birds, Peaches, Leaves & Famille Rose style Vines with Flowers. The Colors are Black, Orange, Red, Green, Blue, Turquoise, Yellow & Lavender. Enameled with Designs Inside the Mouth & on the Bottom. (The Scene of 2 Black Birds among Peaches & Flowers on the Base is Very Rare) Age unknown, likely early to mid 20th century, Antique or Vintage. 16.1″ tall x 7.6 ” wide. 5 pounds, 3.25 ounces. IT WAS HAND CARVED FROM WHITE JADE, AND MEASURES APPROX. 9 1/4″ LONG X 7/8″ LONG AT IT WIDEST PART. THE DESIGN MOTIF IS THAT OF AN INTRICATELY CARVED DRAGON WITH FOLIATE DESIGN ELEMENTS. IT HAS AN ANGLED SCOOPED END-SEE PICTURES. THIS LOVELY PIECE WAS RECENTLY ACQUIRED FROM AN HEIR TO ITS ORIGINAL TAIWANESE OWNER. NO DAMAGE OR REPAIRS. GUARANTEED TO BE AS DESCRIBED. Antique Qing Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Gourd Shape Dragon Ewer Teapot
Actual date unknown — Appears to be a later copy of a Ming style piece, estimated late qing. Good condition with some glaze imperfections from firing, as noted and shown above — no chips or repairs. 8 high, 5 inches wide, base 3 1/4 inches across. With hand painted dragon design.
