Chinese 900 Silver Repousse Tea Set Pot Cups Tray Dragon Bamboo Motif Circa 1920s Unusual Chinese 900 silver repousse & hand chased tea set including tea pot, six cups and octagon shape round serving tray, the tray hand chased with raised Dragon, clouds & Phoenix bird motifs with fire ball in the center, framed in floral sprays with matching floral border. Each cup decorated with triangular design & four repeated floral plaques with’C’ shape handle. Hexagon shape tea pot hand chased & engraved with six plaques depicting dragon, bamboo groove, phoenix bird, Chinese traditional floral motifs & seated eagle a top of shield, double handle, cover and border ornamented with running floral sprays. Each element supported upon elevated circular base. Overall very good condition, minor tarnishing & oxidation, some scratches & minor uneven surface to the tray’s border, couple of minor dents to the cover’s finial. Marked: apparently unmarked, tested for 900 silver or higher Tray Diameter 9 1/2 in. Tea Pot Height 4 3/4 in. Under 1 3/4 in.
