EXPERTLY CRAFTED CHINESE SILVER NECK RING. Presenting an exceptionally fine antique Chinese silver neck ring / collar necklace. This beautifully crafted silver neck ring is magnificently decorated with pierced dragon designs surrounding an auspicious centrally engraved cartouche of a Shou character. The dragons are finely detailed and beautifully decorated with engraved patterns which wonderfully accentuate the sparkle of the silver. This stylishly tapered collar. Is hinged on one side with a tab press opening a concealed gate clasp, so easy to put on. The metal tests positive for silver at just below sterling grade, and is estimated to be approximately 800 grade silver which is standard for pieces of this nature and period. This substantial necklace weighs approx 36 grams, It has an internal circumference of 16 inches or 40.8 cms and an internal diameter of 13 cm. The necklace has a maximum thickness of 10mm and minimum of 4.8mm. This fine example is presented in excellent antique condition with no breaks, losses or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.
