Antique Chinese Silver & silver coloured metal Belt Buckle Panel Plaque Clip. A white metal panel with a Chinese silver D ring. All beautifully decorated with pierced Bas relief, hand chased and repousse work. Featuring a central dragon head with dragons either side of the D ring. Stunning design and decoration. An incredibly rare find. Both D rings are marked as shown. These decorative pieces would thread through the belt and sit on the hips. The D ring would be used to attach water bottles and other items required. These could be used whilst on horseback. Condition is very good with some black pitting to the reverse where the belt clips are. The silver D is in very good antique used condition, with some dings from use. 8.25cm x 6cm (3.1/4″ x 2.1/3″). Total Weight: 183.31g. I have given them a quick wipe over, but as with all my items I don’t over clean or polish.
