A fine antique Chinese cloisonn&#######xC3;&#######xA9; lidded container decorated to the cover with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl through clouds above waves. The rounded bowl shaped container stands on a narrow rounded simple brass foot and is decorated in coloured enamels on a black ground with blue enamels to the inside. The container is not marked.
