ANTIQUE 19thC CHINESE SOLID SILVER DRAGON SUGAR BOWL & COVER c. Antique late-19th / early-20th Century Chinese Export Solid Silver sugar bowl with cover, spherical body embossed with dragons amongst clouds, handles also modelled as a dragons, cover surmounted by a figural finial. The base is Hallmarked with a Chinese mark, the unusual style suggests that it might be the product of a silversmith operating outside one of the principal cities. In Great Condition – no damage. ANTIQUE 19thC CHINESE EXPORT SOLID SILVER DRAGON LIPPED MUG, KWAN WO c. Antique 19th Century Chinese Export solid silver mug / jug, tapering form with later added spout, the body is beautifully decorated in relief with figures in a landscape, very crisp and detailed, centering a vacant shield, the handle is beautifully modelled like a dragon. The base is Hallmarked Chinese Export silver (acid tested shows a 900+ silver standard), Maker’s mark KW for Kwan Wo, an important retail silversmith active in Canton and Hong Kong from 1875. The spout is later added, otherwise in good condition. Width: 10.5 x 6.5cm. Antique 19th Century rare Chinese Export Solid Silver large casket, very unusual design, each side profusely repoussed with dragons amongst clouds, the cover chased with shrimps and fish in the sea, the top depicting dragons and centered by a Chinese character. The design is particularly unusual, the base is Hallmarked Chinese silver (tested is 900+ standard), Maker’s mark with three Chinese character (unknown to me). FINE ANTIQUE LATE 19thC / EARLY 20th CHINESE CLOISONNE ON BRONZE DRAGON VASE. A very decorative and fine quality late 19th or early 20th Century Chinese cloisonne vase, decorated around the body with two dragons, with floral detail above to the shoulders. The cloisonne enamel detail is on bronze, gilded to the upper and lower rims, and on a mottled beige ground. The vase is unsigned, but exhibits true quality. Height: 12 cm or 4 3/4 inches. Width: 8.4 cm or 3 1/4 inches. In good condition, with some cracking, to the deep brown enamel around the upper rim, as well as a small shallow chip to the side.
