Antique Chinese Qing Republic Porcelain Vase 5 Claw Dragon Fish Bats Kangxi Mark
This is a nice antique Chinese Qing Dynasty / Republic period porcelain vase decorated with a 5 clawed dragon, fish, bats, waves butterfly or insect & floral decoration having elephant form handles. In pretty good shape as the pics show having some minor wear to the glaze as well as some losses to the decoration and it comes exactly as shown with the rim of the base having a imperfection. It measures 14 1/2″ tall, 9 1/2″ at the widest point, the top is 4 5/8″ in diameter and the base is 5 1/2″ in diameter. Like us on Facebook at The Option B Designery. Antique chinese graviata porcelain snuff bottle W animal insect fish dragon 19th
Antique chinese porcelain snuff bottle circa 19th C. Or early 20th C. Very nice decor with 8 different animals or insects. Good condition, small usuries (dragon). There is a little usury at the bottom, I think it is just a baking defect. Please look at my other snuff bottles on sale. Antique Chinese Carved Jade Dragon Fish Pin Brooch
This is an antique Chinese carved jade pin. It’s got little holes around the edges. The back metal has a gold color, but it’s more likely brass or bronze. I tested it for 14k and it failed. Definitely an old stone and has some areas of yellowing. It measures 1 3/4″ long and 1 1/8″ wide. If you have any questions please message me. Since I took the pictures for this under artificial light I wanted to add a few more showing it under natural lighting so that the colors showed a little more. I blew some of it away after I noticed it in the picture, but you can see the before and after in the pictures below. Large Doucai Dragon Fish Bowl (RDC051601). 1900 – 1910s Late Qing – Republic period Porcelain with underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze enamels Width / Diameter (at widest points): 30 cm / 11.8 in Height: 14.5 cm / 5.7 in From a Netherlands estate / private collection A large, heavily potted late Qing – Republic period porcelain’gang’ or fish bowl, fully decorated with doucai qilong dragons amongst rolling waves. Two cobalt blue lion heads are attached to both ends. The reverse features a flat, unglazed base and an underglaze blue Qianlong seal mark. Condition: Basically perfect antique condition, some firing spots and 1 tiny fleabite glaze chip to the mouth rim. Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition report. Antique Polearm Battle Axe Ax Weapon Asian Chinese Dragon Fish Spear Sword
Here is what looks to me to be a very old Polearm battle axe. The overall length is 33-1/4. It weighs about 6 lbs. The main shaft with the bayonet/ sword and receiver is made of iron. The dragon fish part is made of brass or bronze. The axe blade in the fish’s mouth is iron. The iron parts are rusty. The base/ receiver has rusted through in a spot. The fish shows a dark patina. The iron is still basically very solid. I see no makers marks on this item anywhere. The dragon fish has an Asian look to it. ORNATELY CARVED ANTIQUE CHINESE JADE STATUE OF FIGURE With FISH DRAGONS CRABS 19C
This week Chamberlain Antiques is pleased to offer over 250+ lots of fine Asian antiques and works of art. Included in the sale is an impressive collection of Chinese porcelains, bronzes, jades, paintings, and other works of art. 99 with NO RESERVE. Thank you for looking and good luck!!! This listing is for a wonderful and ornate Chinese jade carving dating to the 19th century. The carving has a lot going on and depicts a figure standing above crashing waves wiht fish and sea shells below. By his side are two dragons along with a crab. He is shown holding a ring in his hand beside is head and carrying what looks like a spear in the other. Detail in the work is superb as can be seen in the photos. It stands 3.7 inches (9.5cm) tall and displays well. As can be see there is an area of loss in the upper right hand portion of the carving as well as a loss to the ribbon at the base of his arm. Still a wonderful and highly detailed example of Chinese jade from the Qing Dynasty. In addition, all questions must be asked at least 12 hours prior to a lot closing. This allows us time to inspect the item and take additional photos if needed. Many of the items we sell are well over 100 years old. Inherently, these items will have some minor or light wear. Any major flaws and damages ie. Chips or cracks will be clearly disclosed in the item description.
