Fine Antique Chinese Gold Embroidery Panel Textile with5 Claw Dragons & Phoenix’s

This fine antique Chinese silk panel in blue with gold thread embroidery has two five claw dragons and two phoenix birds. Looks to be very old… I would guess it would be from the late 19th century… Not sure on age. The back lining has age spots with some small holes. The front is in excellent condition with a little discoloration on the upper right corner of the dark blue border. Part of the back lining has separated from the front bottom. This textile panel measures about 12 and 1/4″ x 25 and 1/2″. Panel looks much better in person than what my photos show. I have a hard time getting the correct color blue with my camera. Antique 20th Century Chinese Embroidery Gold Metal Dragons Applied Mirrors

Antique Chinese embroidered robe with applied round mirrors. Ties at the neck & side. Silk with gold embroidery. Colors might be very slightly darker in person. Depending on your computer monitor. Very good, silk & embroidery are strong. One one small place where the threads have come loose on the sleeve. A few of the mirrors are loose & bent/broken. The mirrors are slightly tarnished don’t have a lot of shine. Along the edges the threads have worn away in small spots scattered about. A few small light scattered small stains. There is stains inside the sleeve lining on each sleeve that does not show thru to the silk. On each side seam are three tiny holes. From edge to edge of sleeve & across the shoulders – 74 1/2 inches. Length – 52 inches. Chest – 52 inches. Antique Chinese Hand Embroidered Couched Gold Dragon Purse / Empire Style Frame

This purse has a beautiful frame, with swags and open work. There are metal “sequins” held in place with twisted wire. It’s hand embroidered with silk thread and metallic gold couched embroidery of a large dragon. Some of the gold threads need to be secured to the purse. The lining is in good condition and it has a mirror inside. It measures 5 inches across the frame at the hinge, it’s 7 inches wide and is 7 inches high.
