Antique Chinese Chasing Dragon Sterling Silver Drink Shaker & 12 cups – 1142 grams Shaker is 9″ x 3 1/4″ and weighs 629 grams and has a dent at the bottom. It also has 2 small dents near one of the dragon’s foot. It is beautifully hand crafted with hammered dragons on sides and top with bamboo in the background. The cups have a matching dragon on each one and they measure 2 5/16″ tall x 1 3/4″ across the top. The 12 cups weigh 513 grams total with a hallmark on each bottom. The cups are in very good condition with a couple having a minor dent. In general, the set is very nice and shows slight wear with time and usage. I have not polished the pieces except to show the hallmarks. They vary in darkness because of how they were stored. Rare Chinese Antique Solid Silver Reticulated Bowl Double Dragon 265 Grams. A quite amazing piece of antique Silver. Chinese in origin and featuring a double walled technique with pierced reticulated outer bowl heavily repoussed with hand worked dragons flanking a starburst like sphere with a Ying and yang symbol subtly incorporated. The inner bowl is plain and a solid surface as shown. No makers marks that I can see- the piece is nonetheless self evidently the work of a very fine craftsperson. Tested and guaranteed to at least 830 parts per 1000 Pure silver, the bowl presents in immaculate condition, its double walled manufacture has made it a very strong, solid piece which I believe has helped it to stay so free of dents etc. Diameter is 112mm (almost 4 1/2 inches) and weight is a hefty 265 Grams.
