Here we have an exceptional Antique Chinese 18th Century reticulated carved white jade pendant depicting a dragon to one side and a phoenix on the other. The carving is completed in a single exceptional piece of translucent perfectly white mutton fat jade- the consistency of the translucency and color here is astonishing. It is hollow inside with holes north, south, east and west the front and the back allowing light to shine through the jade with intricately pierced patterns hand carved both sides. It measures 2 3/16″ wide by 9/16″ deep (55mm x 14mm). This Chinese hand carved jade amulet weighs approximately 51.5 grams. It is in excellent condition as the day it was carved being ready to display, gift or to wear. An Authenticity Report is included.
