RARE and original Antique Art Deco 1920s Whiting & Davis enamel dragon purse with jade clasp. This bag is 2 die 4 with vibrant colors of turquoise, black, gold. This bag is in very good condition and the double sided dragon is amazing. One minor situation is when opened, one side of the hole is a bit larger than the other. Some of the mesh may have become undone? This can only be seen when it is open. The purse measures Approx. 6 1/2 tall x Approx. 3 1/2 wide (frame to frame). There is a slight separation when the bag is closed (see photo). This bag is a Work Of Art and would be a great addition to any collection. Antique Chinese Hand Embroidered Couched Gold Dragon Purse / Empire Style Frame

This purse has a beautiful frame, with swags and open work. There are metal “sequins” held in place with twisted wire. It’s hand embroidered with silk thread and metallic gold couched embroidery of a large dragon. Some of the gold threads need to be secured to the purse. The lining is in good condition and it has a mirror inside. It measures 5 inches across the frame at the hinge, it’s 7 inches wide and is 7 inches high. Vintage Antique Chinese Purse Embroidered Dragons Flowers on Silk. This purse has an elaborate design of dragons and flowers all embroidered onto a delicate silk background. Condition is excellent and even the lining has no rips, stains, or tears. There are slightly darkened marks on one side and if you look closely at the second picture you’ll see that at the bottom of the purse. There are a few very slight pulls. Frame is undamaged and opens and closes as it should but there is some discolouration under the latch. The bag alone without the handles or tassels measure about 8 by 7 inches 20 by 18 cm. Stunning Antique Chinese Leather Purse with Brass Dragon Embossed Eagle

The purse is made from leather, it has been beautifully worked with nice embossed images into the leather, there is an eagle on the front and some kind of fruiting branch on the back. The edge of the leather has metal’stiches’. There is a large brass dragon on the front of the purse. There is a brass multi chain attached to the top of the purse, this has a kind of seal on the end. The seal has a dark surround, I cannot make out what this is made of, possibly Bakelite or horn? There is another brass dragon inside this. Inside the purse it is lovely soft suede. You can see that the leather was once nicely coloured as it has not faded beneath the flap. It is in good condition, there is some minor surface wear, some fading to the colours as mention, one of the chains is no longer attached to the seal, but nothing too major.
