Pair 19th C Chinese Solid Sterling Silver Dragon Vase QING Hong Kon. The listing is for a fine pair of Unusual and fine silver vases. Each having a dragon encircling body and a further dragon with movable tongue serving as support between vase and flared circular foot. HallmarkedWS (Woshing of Shanghai) and Chinese character mark. Dating 19th Century, Qing Dynasty. Good overall condition as per image. One vase bears a chip to dragons tail, tiny loss to dragons beard. For your consideration is this stunning Chinese gilt sterling silver filigree censer with inlaid turquoise, carnelian and coral. Executed in stunning detail with two rampant dragon heads for handles with four rings, inlaid with turquoise, carnelian and coral of various shapes and sizes with fine enameled decoration throughout with a jade bowl insert which is not removable. Measures approximately 10 inches in height without stand wooden stand is original and included. Marked 925 Silver A3 to base. Condition: Good condition with signs of age including wear to gold/tarnish and some light flaking to enamel decoration in parts most notably to the dragon handles. One of the smaller 4 dragons decorating the finial of the lid has a thin piece of wire tied around it’s head and neck (see photos,) the reason of which seems unclear as the hands are still attached to the body while the tail and feet are not see photos. Given the handmade nature of this item there are slight irregularities throughout including the fit of the lid, but overall this piece in very good display condition. Vintage c1900 Wang Hing Chinese Export Solid Silver Dragon Open Salt Cellar & Liners A lovely pair of matching Chinese Export silver salt cellars adorned with dragons and made by Wang Hing Both are in excellent condition with minimal age related wear that does not detract from its overall presentation or use, there is some minor tarnishing in places. The glass liner of one has two chips to either side, they have been lightly filed at some point to soften the edges of the chips. PLEASE CHECK ALL MEASUREMENTS AND IMAGES. An antique beautiful quality Chinese silver export silver box which has a cylindrical shape with embossed dragons which have exceptional detail/definition one wraps itself around the entire outside the other adorns the top which has a blank/vacant cartouche in the centre and they sit proud of the box. It is a very aesthetically pleasing design even more so with the background to the dragons being planished/hand hammered and the original push lid is a perfect fit and both parts are gilded. It is not a small box and will arrived gift boxed. Material – silver- 90 standard [900/1000]. Hallmarks/marks – WH for Wang Hing & Co-90- unidentified Chinese symbol. Measurements – 5.5cm diameter-4cm high. Weight – 70 grams. Condition – beautiful condition-no dents-holes-splits-some light surface marks to cartouch and underside-lid locates fine and removes fine-there is 1 very small patch of the inside rim that is not 100 % totally smooth but it has no impact on the functionality what so ever and was difficult to capture in the images-but nothing to worry about.
