This is a nice antique Chinese silk embroidered textile possibly as rank badge / Mandarin square with a gold 5 claw dragon, waves & bats decoration. It also has the auspicious symbol of a Swastika which is a sign of prosperity. In pretty nice shape as the pics show with 1 small discolored spot shown in pic 11 but other than that very good condition and it comes exactly as shown. The frame measures 16 1/4″ x 18 3/4″ and the main section is 9 1/2″ x 11 /4″. Wonderful Large Antique Chinese Silk Textile Panel With Dragons On Yellow Ground

This listing is for a large and early Chinese textile dating to the 19th century or earlier. The textile depcits dragons, clouds, flames, and other objects on a yellow ground. It appears to be made up of two separate sections which were joined in the middle and display similar design. The entire piece measures about 78 x 58 inches and is in very good condition with only light wear and normal light fading. Please see photos for details. In addition, all questions must be asked at least 12 hours prior to a lot closing. This allows us time to inspect the item and take additional photos if needed.
