The frame has an easel back, with finally carved dragons, birds, and flora. The piece measures 8″ x 10″, and the oval opening is 3.25″ x 5″. The frame is in excellent condition. There is a small chip to the extreme edge of one corner (as shown in the last photo), otherwise, there are no concerns. The piece is complete, free of crack, chips, or warping. Pair of intricately carved Zitan Dragon-Armed “Jiaoyi” Folding Chairs. Two horseshoe back Zitan folding chairs elaborately carved with a dragon and flaming pearl on the back. The curved top rails end in dragon head arm rests. The seats have a woven diamond pattern. The square section legs are mounted with footrests and are supported by inswept feet, conjoined by pierced and carved stretchers. Incredible detail and colors.
