For your consideration is this very nice Chinese export necklace likely from 1930s. It is a choker length, with a large 1 inch sterling silver bead with reposse Dragon on it. The bead is marked silver, which is the old hallmark and is often 900 silver. The bead tests sterling silver with nitric acid. The clasp is a silver filigree clasp marked S925 on the clasp tongue. The serpentine beads or celadon jade (commercial name) beads are 12 mm each. Total length is 16 inches, meant to show off the silver bead right on the neckline. Good condition showing no problems. Absolutely natural, carved by hand, organic. Turquoise nugget beads necklace, 22! Each bead is different in its color, and its carving. Carving is an oval with SHOU (LONGEVITY). And dragon as well. As you can see, the carving is not perfect, but. Totally charming for its age. Small beads are 4-5mm. The carving is 22mm long by 17mm. Lovingly knotted with silk. Antique Chinese Neck Ring Collar Necklace. Reticella Pieced Ajouré Dragon Design and Shou Symbol. Tested as Silver, as no hallmark, see info below. Internal diameter is 13 cm. Internal circumference is 41cm. Clasp closes with a crisp snap. Fabulous condition for age. ANTIQUE CHINESE SILVER COLLAR NECKLACE NECK RING PIERCED DRAGON DESIGN. EXPERTLY CRAFTED CHINESE SILVER NECK RING. Presenting an exceptionally fine antique Chinese silver neck ring / collar necklace. This beautifully crafted silver neck ring is magnificently decorated with pierced dragon designs surrounding an auspicious centrally engraved cartouche of a Shou character. The dragons are finely detailed and beautifully decorated with engraved patterns which wonderfully accentuate the sparkle of the silver. This stylishly tapered collar. Is hinged on one side with a tab press opening a concealed gate clasp, so easy to put on. The metal tests positive for silver at just below sterling grade, and is estimated to be approximately 800 grade silver which is standard for pieces of this nature and period. This substantial necklace weighs approx 36 grams, It has an internal circumference of 16 inches or 40.8 cms and an internal diameter of 13 cm. The necklace has a maximum thickness of 10mm and minimum of 4.8mm. This fine example is presented in excellent antique condition with no breaks, losses or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. Up for your consideration is this GORGEOUS vintage Chinese carved jadeite pendant necklace! It is features a beautiful pendant which is carved from natural red jadeite. The carving is in the form of a dragon. At the dragons mouth is a carved blue aquamarine shou bead. The color of the jade was hard to capture with my camera. It is a very rich deep orange. This jadeite dragon measures approximately 1 7/8″ from top to bottom, by 5/8″ wide, and 5mm thick! The aquamarine shou bead is 10mm. Overall, this pendant is just over 2 1/2 long (bale included). T he bale is hallmarked 18K. This pendant hangs from a 14k gold rope chain. The chain measures approximately 20 1/2 long. The chain is hallmarked 14KT.
