This beautiful necklace comes from the Art Deco Era which is famous for their hand carved designs and gorgeous gem stones and corals. This beautiful necklace is made out of gorgeous 14k & 18k yellow gold and features beautiful Angelskin Coral beads throughout with a stunning dragon head Angelskin Coral pendant! Angelskin Coral during the Art Deco Period was truly a premium gem to have as apart of your jewelry. Divers would have to “free dive” into deep and dangerous waters to get even a shall amount of this precious coral. The danger of the job, combined with high importing cost lead to quite the heavy price tag being associated with this coral! The Angelskin Coral in this piece are each beautifully rounded and feature a stunning pink color with subtle white accents. Each bead measures in at a generous 5 mm in diameter and reflect light beautifully off of their marble like smooth surface. The colors on this gorgeous coral swirl together to create an absolutely gorgeous, and mesmerizing color pattern that I get lost when I stare into it! These gorgeous beads are hand strung on a beautiful pink string that holds each bead up securely! The piece is a long and luxurious length at 23.5 long. Attached to the necklace we have an absolutely breath taking Angelskin Coral dragon head carving! The Dragon Head is incredibly detailed with ornate scales, whiskers, teeth, a tounge and even his eyes! The piece measures 2″ long by 1″ wide and is absolutely breath taking. Whomever carved these gorgeous piece surely was a master of their craft and spent a lot of time perfecting it. I can not imagine the price put on something as elegant and rare as this piece!
