My mother in law brought this back from changsha china in the late 1920’s. She used it for a cover on a chinese chest. It has been stored all these years and the folds still exist. There is minor damage on one of the borders – see scan # 4 – the backing has no tears. The remaining condition is wonderful except for the folds which will straighten out in time i think. It measures 38 by 36 inches. The scary dragon faces are embroidered in gold thread. Any questions i will gladly respond.
