Antique Chinese Art Deco Walter Nichols Dragon Phoenix Floral Area Rug. 8′ x 9.5. Gorgeous antique hand knotted/hand woven Chinese art deco area rug. Possibly attributed to Walter Nichols, this piece features his signature style. Floral, dragon/phoenix, and Chinese village designs are captured in hues of golden yellow, greens, and purples. The rug shows some signs of normal wear appropriate with age. There are some slight bare spots, and some sections of unraveled trim and corners as pictured. Measures approximately 8′ x 9.5′. E are not rug experts, but have described this piece based on information from the estate and to the best of our abilities. Overall very good antique condition. From a premiere high-end estate. Oriental Asian Chinese Dragon Chair Loveseat Table Carved Black Antique
ANTIQUE EBONIZED ROSEWOOD CHINESE FURNITURE SET which includes a chair, loveseat and table. Chair and loveseat are export furniture from the Qing Dynasty period; table is just as old. All pieces are intricately hand carved out of rosewood, then ebonized (black stain); all original work. Carvings include dragons, birds, etc. Table has original marble inlay top with Chinese writing underneath, has been transcribe to say, “be careful placing here”. All pieces are original and in good condition for approx. (+/-) 100 years old. Some of the black stain has worn off in a few places. Located in Magnolia, Texas; about 35 miles North of Houston, Texas. The furniture was mostly “on exhibit”; not used as everyday furnishings. Absolutely beautiful artwork on each piece. TABLE DIMENSIONS: 32 inches-Height 48 inches-Width 27 inches-Depth. LOVESEAT DIMENSIONS: 39 inches-Height 49 inches-Width 22 inches-Depth.
