Very rare and intricately carved Asian Rosewood throne chair. This is makes a great statement piece! Chair has very detailed foo dog and dragon carvings throughout the chair. The center back of the chair has an inlaid detail scene of Mother of Pearl. Chair also has large clawed animal feet. The carved detail continues around the apron of the chair and down along the cabriole style legs. The chair measures 26 1/2″ wide x 22″ deep x 38 1/2 tall overall. The seat is 19 1/2″ wide x 24″ deep and is 14 1/2 from the floor. Chair is missing original arms. There are no other broken or missing pieces. There is normal age appropriate wear to the finish.
