EARLY-MID 20TH CENTURY CHINESE VINTAGE PAIR FIGURATIVE 10 TALL BRASS CANDLESTICKS, WITH. WINDING, CLIMBING DRAGONS ON STEMS. & ARTIST SIGNED ON CUPPED BOTTOMS. 10 ¼” Height x 4 ¼” base Width. Offered is this wonderful 1920’s pair of period, vintage figurative solid brass candlesticks with wonderful meandering, spiraling upward, long, tailed dragons decorating the candlestick’s ascending from stem bottoms. The solid brass stems sit on top of hollow brass half spheres, which are decorated with Chinese incised marks in the form of images of dragons, repeating the more sculptural, bas-relief dragons depicted on the stems of the candlesticks. The candle holder and fluted top and silled reservoir, to collect the dripping wax and preventing the melted wax from dripping down and coagulating on the decorative shafts and obscuring the carved dragon imagery.

The Dragon and Pearl Design, appears to be Hand Cast. The Design surrounds the Pot. It is of quite SUBSTANTIAL Weight, with a Very DENSE Thickness. There is a lip around the top, so it undoubtedly had a lid. It has a Hand Engraved Mark, on the base-MADE IN CHINA. The condition is Antique good. All of the beautiful age patina, (mellow, smooth and soft), of a very old piece. View photos for condition. The Censer stands approximately 7″ high, and approximately 5″ circumstance, at the top. An Exceptional, and beautiful Antique Chinese Censer, ready to display. Exceptional in every way.

Antique. Chinese Dragon Etched Brass 5 light Candelabra

Dimensions are 22 inches tall by 17 inches wide. The base Is 6 inches in diameter. Fabulous Chinese five light antique candle La Habra. There are full body dragons on each side of the center post. Very ornate the whole stem is done very ornately going down to the base. This was given to me as a gift by 50 years ago. Please look at all pictures for they are part of the description.
