Early 1900’s Chinese Yixing style. 5 pc tea and coffee set made from Zhu sha clay. And overlaid with a pewter pattern depicting dragons (the tray also has some bats for good measure). Of particular interest – the large teapot has a Chinese coin inserted in the lid and a small piece of silver embedded in the filter inside. The coffee pot has an interesting twisting lid mechanism. Tray – scuffing and scratches. Large teapot – some damage to pewter overlay. Coffee pot – some light scuffing. Sugar bowl – damage to pewter on the lid and a chip on the underside of the lid.
