The diminutive teapot features ornate incised designs and figural liazrds with bifurcated tails on the lid and the handle. The teapot spout depicts a dragon through whose mouth your pour out the tea. Signed on the underside of the base and on the interior of the lid. In overall very good condition with minor surface scratches and abrasions. There is a loss to part of the tail on the lizard on the lid. This condition is consistent with age and use. Measures 4″ tall and is 7 3/4″ from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout. The mouth opening is 3 1/8 diameter. This wonderful teapot will make a lovely addition to your afternoon ritual.
