Antique 1900’s Chinese Silver Dragon Picture Stand. A Charming Antique Chinese Silver Picture Stand. A lovely antique Chinese silver picture stand decorated with a dragon and bamboo and dating from around 1900. This very well crafted hand made solid silver stand is formed of three legs. Each leg is modelled as bamboo shafts. The rear leg is hinged allowing the stand to be folded flat when not in use. The base of the front two legs has a scaly dragon running their span whilst the top is decorated with bamboo leaves. The silver is unmarked, but has been chemically tested to confirm it is solid silver. Dimensions: The stand measures 14cm x 8cm. The paper inset included in the images for demonstration purposes measures 10cm x 9cm. Weight: Made of a good gauge of silver the stand weighs 38g’s. Condition: In good antique condition. The silver is clean with some minor age related tarnish to rebates. The hinge works as intended.
